YFL Hydraulic slow closing butterfly valves with counter weight are designed to cut off the flow automatically, eliminate the pipeline water hammer and protect the hydro turbine and pumps in case of electrical power failure in hydro power plants, pumping stations, dam etc.
The hydraulic operated butterfly valves function as both check valves and gate valves to avoid damage from return flow and ensure the pipeline system work stably.
With hydraulic actuator, hydraulic power pack and electrical control cabinet, the hydraulic butterfly valves can achieve remote control of quick closing and slow closing automatically. The electric control cabinet can be integral or separated with hydraulic power pack. The quick closing time, slow closing time quick closing angle and slow closing angle are adjustable as request. The valve sealing can be metal sealing or soft sealing according to specific working conditions.
